Country & Western Event Saturday 26th July 2025

The UK’s premier country & western event is coming to Mercure Norwich & boy are you in for a treat! Get your cowboy hats ready folks

– Doors open at 8pm – 8:30pm – DJ Saz warming you up with country hits whilst you visit the bar for the all-important drinks to get the night started and take your seats

-8:30pm – 9:15pm – Billy Bubba King performing live on stage

– 9:15pm – 10pm – Line Dancing with Saz

– 10pm – 11pm – Billy Bubba returns to perform country hits old & new

Murder Mystery – Murder on the Dance Floor – 27th September 2025

Style TV, is new to the UK. Owned by Australian media magnate Greg Copeland, the TV company is set to go head to head in an all out war with BBC’s ‘Strictly’ this year. Their new dance show, ‘Step Up & Dance’ promises to be big & brash.
Fronted by TV host Sam Delaney, the show will have notorious musical star P.J. McQueen as lead judge, who makes Craig Revel Norwood seem like a pussycat!!
Tonight will be an opportunity for one lucky person to join the show. So if you feel lucky, put on your dancing shoes and practice that hip sway but be careful, with all those egos, fake tan and sequins.

Chaos and mayhem are served in large portions and very likely to interrupt the proceedings, but all should end well, as the of hotel and catering management do everything they can to keep the evening on course!

The Health Inspector is going to pay a visit, and Manuel’s Hamster (Rat) is nowhere to be found.

Expect a big fun night out in a friendly party atmosphere with some of the finest comedy actors in the land, professionally produced to the highest standards and with your enjoyment always at the top of the menu. A faultless show that guarantees to reach chuckle muscles you never knew you had!

You are invited to the annual “Spooks Ball” arranged by the Killinton Ghost Hunting Society. The society has been searching for evidence about the mysterious case of Martha Goodfellow for years, but has yet to find anything. Every year they have a big party where everyone gets the chance to dress up as their favourite monster, ghoul or demon! But this year someone may well end up as a ghost – for real.

Murder Mystery – The Time Travellers Wife – 22nd November 2025

This evening, Henry George Wells is hosting the annual general meeting of The Quantum Leapers. A group set up to further the research into time travel. This evening promises to be an exciting event – famous movie star Martin Mackleby will be making an appearance and Henry has promised an exciting revelation.
Unfortunately, the suicide of his wife Hannah might put a dampener on the proceedings. Did the time traveller’s wife really kill herself or is something more sinister taking place?

It is also 7 years since the infamous Jack the Ripper was last active. But is everyone who they say they are? And has the Ripper really finished his work?
